Week 6

I caught the paint chip man restocking at Lowes this week - so we made masks & 'flower vases'!

Fall means vegetable soup, right?

So I bought this awesome sensory table at Ikea a couple of weeks ago, & forgot to get my bins!!  Dish pan worked fine for this week, but I'm heading back to Ikea next week to get the rest of the table ;0)  F for Farm & Fish....

Kylie discovered our Magnatab! Great fine motor practice!  I've wanted one since Josie was in kindergarten (5 years ago!) but got this at the free swap in the spring!  The next one is coming up this Tuesday, wonder what I'll find??

Arc loved our new grocery store set up - especially the eggs

A nature walk with our contact paper & popsicle stick frames :0)

Abraham was so excited to show his mama!

They turned out very nicely - we didn't think the church would miss a few rose petals - especially this late in the season!

New water source - old detergent jug!

Sooo much sword play today!  Isaac loves this!

Nixon discovered this big hole with mushrooms above it!  We wonder what lives in there??

Adelina taking care of her friend Abraham :0)

New grocery store area

Week 5!

Yes, I skipped week 4!  The awesome Jenn Finley took over for me while I was at the Wild + Free conference in Franklin, Tennessee!  I'm still behind for week 5 so I'm catching up now ;0)

E week - Elmer the Elephant

Isaac working on size & color

Stamping & experimenting with block crayons

Taylor was cracking herself up with the magnifying lens!

Adelina was choosing favorite dogs to review D week

Nixon LOVES those trains & cars :0)

Such a sweet smile!

A rainy day outside meant kinetic sand inside!

Painting is such a calming activity

Malachi & Finn bonded in the afternoon

Quinn, Malachi, Kylie & Caroline had a teaparty after lunch!

First day of prek fall classes 2018!

A little cliche these days, but yes, A for apples!
We read 10 Apples Up on Top & used stickers to show how many apples our animals could balance

Farm animal fun in the lentil bin!

Playdough is always a hit - we used stamps to mark A's & a's in the dough

Chef Abram!

I love our cozy table with the window!

Arc really enjoyed the Thomas trains - all my boys have loved these over the years too :0)

Adelina, Isaac & Taylor making cupcakes

Hi Kylie!

Auberon matched all the pieces!

Diving right in!

Isaac & Benjamin's turn with the playdough

Malachi & teacher helper Grace concentrated on their paintings for a long time :0)

Taylor takes care of our room by throwing away her trash!

...so does Malachi....

....and Isaac!

A quick walk outside to collect leaves & plants for a group sticky picture!  We put contact paper up on the wall sticky side out with a bare paper tree trunk stuck on it - and then added our nature treasures!

It was a wonderful first day!  This coming week we are hoping for blue skies & lots of sunshine so we can get out to the playground & maybe the mud kitchen ;0) Remember - class time ends at noon now!
