Week 7 - G

We read "Goodnight Gorilla" for G

They loved making the different voices of the animals saying Goodnight in the dark :0)

We had playdough to match the cages & keys from the book - the children got to choose which animal/cage they wanted & we retold the story with our story props!  I even found an armadillo at the free swap just in time (I think it's a Texas mascot but hey, it works!)

Watching the 5th-8th grade PE class

Working in our Grocery Store!

Isaac can do this puzzle all by himself now!  Such a puzzle whiz!

Nixon really loved acting out the story this week with the story props - I think some dinosaurs made it into the zoo as well :0)

Arc was attracted to this antique cash register right away...normally I don't prefer plastic toys but this is a classic that children have loved since I was their age (yep, I'm kinda old)

What does it look like under a magnifying lens?  Malachi tried several things to see what they looked like

Auberon tried out Pegasus

So did Isaac

The lion escaped from the zoo!  Arc found it!

My Ben came to class for a little while this week - he made a plaster treasure hunt for the prek class!  They banged it with rocks til they found all the jewels :0)
